May 4, 2020
We are excited to celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM) this year with our Faces of the Frontline project!
The COVID-19 pandemic has left our community facing unprecedented challenges this year. Several members of the Asian-American community have stepped up to the frontline to ensure that the well-being of the Wichita community is protected. Throughout this month, we'll be posting videos of these individuals who are a part of the frontline by way of their profession, or through their humanitarian efforts to serve the community as a whole.
Our first video includes a statement from our WAA President Chiaw-weai Loo, followed by a video from Dr. Li Jia, an ER doctor at Ascension Via Christi. Subscribe to our YouTube channel below as we release videos throughout the month!
